Directed by Emmanuel Carlos and Produced by Megan Silva. Bring one of the best films in the UNT Short Film Club. When their roommate, Travis, becomes depressed, Tyler and Cameron get him a state-of-the-art LoveBot Number 9 to please him emotionally. (and physically)

Full Production

After reading the first draft of loveBot #9, many script changes have to bring down the mature content to a reasonable and acceptable level. Emmanuel took the challenging script and began its work. Building the crew and cast was a challenge in itself. Many contractors thought it was offensive or inappropriate and decided to drop the project. Production went smoothly, overcoming obstacles such as the 3-day production time and cast-tied schedule. Pre-production gave its VHS style and the addition of a great soundtrack.

Outcome:

A unique and high-quality film was produced and one of the best films released within the club for the past few semesters. Thanks to the hard work put into it by those who stayed till the end, the crew, and the cast. And the constant rewrites provided by the writer. And the immense patience of the producer.
